Motivational system and its influence on work performance

The quality of employees is the most important criterion for the success of any company. However, to allow people to exploit their potential, it is necessary to motivate them. Motivation in the workplace essentially determines the quality of work. Globally successful companies devote more resources and efforts to improving their motivational system. Therefore the objective of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the performance of employees in connection with their motivation. The objective is also the research of the motivational system and the different forms of stimulation in the chosen company including the analysis of corporate culture. This research survey required a study of basic theoretical concepts related with working performance, motivating employees to better perform at the workplace, using appropriate stimulus means, interpersonal relations in the workplace and corporate culture. The performance of employees in connection with their motivation was analysed by using statistical methods (Pearson's correlation coefficient and Student's paired t-test) and by using labor productivity in comparison with the average wage. Motivation at the workplace was examined through a observation, interviews and a structured questionnaire with taking into account motivational profiles of employees. Corporate culture was analyzed through a system of symbols and test VSM and TBSD. Based on the data and its analysis, problem areas were defined and appropriate recommendations were made. These recommendations should contribute to the improvement of motivation, followed by greater work efficiency in the company.
Incentive mechanism in enterprise management

The thesis describes the system of motivation in relation with the company management. The goal of the thesis was to evaluate the motivation system in Pramet tools ltd. company and to discover any potential shortcomings. The theoretical part involves the study of research papers and explains the basic concepts, such as management, motivation and simulation. It is followed by the further description of the most popular theories of work motivation, giving various aspects of the motivation mechanism. The theory was subsequently put into practice, introducing the Pramet company along with the analysis of questionnnaire responses. As a result these results were summarized and presented to the company management in form of recommendation.
The Importance of Motivation for a Leadership

Theoretical part of bachelor`s dissertation summarize basic findings of areas of people management, human resource management, general and work motivation and employee stimulation. The last sixth chapter, Present trends in people leadership and management, with connection to employee motivation, deals with methods applied in the company analyzed in practical part of bachelor`s thesis. Practical part of dissertation describes a company and one of its department. Based on the company management request, name of the enterprise stays undisclosed (therefore it is mentioned there only as a company, an enterprise, etc.). Further there are described basic management principles, stimulation tools used in the company and problems detected in the department. Following chapter deals with research methodology and analysis of data collected from questionnaires. In the analysis there are applied knowledges mentioned in theoretical part. Closing part includes recommendations for problematic areas within the department.
Analysis of the Work Motivation of Employees

The goal of this thesis is to map and to analyze the work motivation of employees in the selected company and on the basis of the results suggest possible solutions to problem areas. The theoretical part is focused on definition the basic terms of motivation, especially work motivation, sources of motivation, motivation theories and stimulation instruments. In the practical part is described the company MeDitorial, s.r.o., the used way, the analysis and evaluation of received information and the suggestion of changes. The collection of data was realized in the selected company by the way of semi-structured interview. The questions were about labour conditions and operating mode, scope of employment, relationships in the workplace, relationship to company and voluntary care of employees. The result of analysis and evaluation opinions of emploees is suggested arrangements.
Students’ Motivation for Working during Study at University

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the issues of job motivation of university students. In the first part, there are described the basic terminology connected with motivation as well as the key stimulation tools affecting the employees at work. Next the types of labour-law relations, their advantages and differences are stated. The practical part is based on the questionnaire survey carried out among the university students. The survey results are compared with ones of the expertized research. The thesis examines this problem even from the employers' point of view and describes how students are approached by the international company IBM. The thesis aim is focused on the determination of differences in job motivation among the university students of different specializations, the analysis of working opportunities and their use by current students.
Interpersonal Influences in the Working Process

Subject of the bachelor thesis is an area of interpersonal influences in the working process. In the first part I am focusing at basic theoretical principles, definitions and concepts related with motivating of employees to better performance at the workplace and using of appropriate stimulus means. The bachelor thesis also closely focuses at interpersonal relationships at the workplace. Second part begins with introduction of the company in which I was doing my research. Using a structured questionnaire I examined interpersonal relationships at the workplace with taking into account motivational profiles of employees in the company. In the third part, there is a summary and evaluation of research results in the company. Based on the data and their analysis, problem areas are defined and appropriate recommendations are made. These recommendations should contribute to the improvement of relations, followed by greater work efficiency in the company.
Forms of motivation and stimulation in the selected company

Currently, human resource management is one of the most important system operations of specific companies. Due to the growing effort to achieve higher competitiveness, companies are looking for new resources, namely human ones, and the importance of human capital within the global society is on the rise. The dynamic management approach involving motivational approaches strenghtens the unique role of information technology and, along with the improved quality of staff, increases general awareness. If the quality of employees and ultimately the quality of the human factor is continuously improved and if the employer motivates the employees towards innovation processes, business will be booming and will have a good position in the market. It is also desirable that employees are motivated to identify with the goals of the their company. The above issues are the main focus of this thesis. The main objective was to analyze the forms of motivation and stimulation and their impact on employees with proposed measures. An analysis of the data and other information obtained was followed by an overall evaluation of the current approaches to motivation and stimulation of human resources in the selected company. Based on this information, measures were proposed to increase employee satisfaction and motivation to better results.
The influence in the operative procedure

In my bachelor work I focused on the questions of motivation and stimulation. I made research in two organizations, one productive, the other one nonproductive (services). The objective of my work was to describe the usage of motivational programs and stimulative means in these two organizations. Both companies have assembled motivational program well, but not all the employees are familier with it. Its particular tools meet the requirements of the employees. The second part of my work was to make a questionnaire survey and determine, which tools are prefered by the employees and provide the companies with relevant recommendations. The survey showed that supervisors mostly motivate their subordinate staff by material reward. According to the survey, both companies seem to know how to treat their employees and take care of them in order for the employees to feel better in the work environment so they can come with quality performance.
Motivation and stimulation of employees

This bachelor thesis deals with ways of motivation and stimulation of employees, which is one of the main human resources elements in business that every manager and CEO has to observe very closely. To start with, the thesis presents a theoretical outline of the subject that ranges from defining the basic HR terms and theories to a more detailed and specific listing of possible incentive methods. It also describes the progress of the research that was performed. This introduction is followed by the practical part which starts with a brief description of the company in which a research was executed in order to assess the level of motivation and stimulation in this particular company. In conclusion, an analysis of predicted results is presented together with recommended suggestions that are universally applicable in other business units.
